If you wanted to see what the Apple iPad3 will look like before it is unveiled on March 7 by Tim Cook, we have the perfect solution for you. M.I.C. Gadget, a Chinese tech blog, has managed to assemble the shell of iPad 3 by using parts from various suppliers. They are not able to confirm the technical specifications at this point but the pictures and video will allow you to look at the physical design and changes from the previous generation of the iPad.
Apple iPad 3 looks exactly the same as the iPad 2 but the iPad3 is slightly thicker with larger opening for camera lens and tapered edges. There were rumors that iPad3 won’t have a physical home button, but the video clearly disproves this rumor. Check out the pictures and video below for the assembly and comparison of iPad 3.
Three main differences to look out for in the Apple iPad 3:
1. LCD mounting is different: The LCD screen is probably redesigned and will probably have retina display.
2. Different Camera: different camera with higher MP count is expected for iPad 3
3. Bigger Battery: The logic board is smaller in width on iPad 3 casing compared to iPad, suggesting that iPad 3 will probably have more battery.
