Which Tablet is better? Tablet Comparison Guide [Summer 2012]

The tablet market has been energized once again with the introduction of Google’s Asus Nexus 7.  The 16GB version of Nexus 7 tablet has been sold out of Google’s inventory, which confirms the fact that consumers are very fond of the 7inch screen size.  Apple has also been rumored to be working on a 7-inch version of the iPad.  With the future of computing moving towards the tablet form factor, we have created a comparison chart of some key tablets that you may be interested in purchasing during Summer 2012.   In our opinion, the Nexus 7 beats the competition with its fast performance, slick design, and affordable price point. Please leave your comments about which tablet is better in your opinion.

I noticed in this comparison that the New iPad is the result of incremental changes over the original iPad.  The result is the New iPad is boring/dated and in many ways less competitive than other tablets.  Within 12-18 months other tablets should be significantly eating into the iPad’s market share.  What do you think?

The quad-core CPU on the Nexus 7 is impressive.  The PlayBook, with its specs and a $199 price tag, is a great bargain, especially when it gets a free upgrade to BB 10 in March/April.

The PlayBook is good choice for the BlackBerry Users and those who want a good camera (both front and back) for the low price of $199. Nexus 7 performs very well with the new Jelly Bean OS and Quad-Core CPU but the entertainment (movies, magazines) options are limited outside of U.S. due to limitations of the Google Play Store.
